Australia’s biggest telco Telstra is considering dumping the email, blogging, photos and online storage platforms used by customers of its BigPond internet service provider division and migrating customers to Microsoft’s Windows Live platform.

By March 2011, all of the 30 million Windows Live blogs will be migrated to WordPress.com or else. According to Microsoft, 500,000 have been moved over to the open source blogging platform and another half a million users have created entirely new WordPress.com blogs.
