Commission Junction is one of the leading affiliate platforms on the internet where many name brand advertisers offer affiliates a chance to make money. You can sell products for almost any niche you can imagine which means this is a network you should join. Each advertiser has there own rules and commission payouts so make sure you read everything about each affiliate you sign-up for.

There are plenty of other ways to monetize your website out there, but these three will definitely keep you busy. I would recommend only joining these three at a maximum in the beginning because you want to build up your money on only a couple networks. This way you don’t need to wait for the minimum payout on a bunch on networks as it will take longer to do so. One of the things that makes WordPress so easy to use is widgets. What is a widget? I will try and explain them the easiest way possible. Basically, a widget is an area of a website or blog where you can control the location by dragging and dropping it. In WordPress, widgets are usually found in the sidebar section. As far as what can be places in them, there are really no limits. There are literally hundreds of different ways to utilize widgets within WordPress.

However, before you get started you should probably learn how to install WordPress widgets. The good news is that a lot of widgets come preinstalled with the WordPress package. The common ones include things like recent posts, categories, tags, and a search function.

However, if you want to add any functionality to your blog or website then you will want to know how to install WordPress widgets from plugins. Many WordPress plugins come with widgets built in so all you have to do is install the plugin and then browse to the widgets section in WordPress.

If the plugin comes with a widget, you should automatically see it listed under the available widgets. If for some reason you do not see any new widgets, then you should make sure the plugin is activated. If for some reason it is not, it will not show up under widgets. Link bait is basically how you’d think it would be, simply put link bait is something that will make other bloggers want to post about what you’ve written about. Authority bloggers are also looking in the blogosphere for new and interesting topics to write about and if you offer a great new creation then chances is it will be found by other bloggers. All you need is one good review from an authority blog and your traffic could jump an insane amount instantly. Bloggers have hundreds of different ways that they can use to promote their blogs and the more techniques utilized by the blogger the bigger chance that blogger has at having a successful blog. Since there are so many different options when promoting your blog I won’t be able to list them all here but I will aim to list some of them so that you can see some of the ways available to you when promoting.

One of the first methods you should use to promote your blog is by social bookmarking each and every one of your posts, this will help gain backlinks and also traffic to your blog so it’s a huge win-win for the blogger and I highly recommend it. It can be time consuming to submit to all of the social bookmarking sites but if you choose the top ten from an online list then you should be well on your way.

Another method you can use is article submissions which can be done quickly by yourself as you only need to submit to a few of the directories. A couple of the more popular options would be EzineArticles and GoArticles. Both of those places get a ton of traffic each day and they will help not only with backlinks but with bringing traffic to your blog.

You can also get active on other peoples blogs, preferably ones in your niche. You should comment as often as you can so that you gain a presence with the other bloggers in your niche. This can be important for in the future as your blog progresses you may find people wanting to exchange links.

Video marketing is another method that most successful marketers are using to gain the attention of millions of people. Youtube alone gets millions of people daily going to there site to watch videos so you can be sure a lot of people are watching videos and a lot of traffic can come from a well made video.

There are many hundreds of other promotion techniques that bloggers utilize to make their blogs successful and you’ll need to do more then the above to have a great blog, but by doing the above you’ll ensure a lot of steady traffic over time and a fairly decent blog. Don’t be shy about leaving your URL places but make sure it isn’t spammy looking or else most people will disregard your links and not click them. Are you thinking to quit your day job? If so, why? If you are thinking that you’ll be making more money working online – then I’d say – you should think once again. It’s not because I don’t think there is enough opportunity. But it’s because there are a lot of things that you may not be knowing.

Money can be made online through different ways. But it may not be bringing you money on a monthly basis like your day job if you don’t do things the right way. There are a lot of people, earning some real money online on a monthly basis. But they would be much experienced than you. The benefit of doing a day job is that – you’ll be guaranteed an amount at the end of the month whatsoever – whether you get works or not. The company for which you are working is responsible for delivering you money at the right time. But if you are gonna work online, there is no such time frame or guarantee that you’ll be getting money. You may or may not get money earlier or later than a particular month.

Your online earnings will depend on the work that you are doing online. If you are working directly for the clients, then you may be either getting the amount upfront or after completing the work half or fully. On the other hand if there is a middleman between you and the actual client, then you may have to wait some time before you get the payment in your hand.

If you are with some skills like – designing, programming, writing, or something like that, then you could opt for this track – yup, you can make money online – and even quit your day job. But if you don’t have any such skills, then you’ll have to really work hard. And it won’t be a wise decision for you to quit your day job, if you fall under the second category of people that we mentioned above.

Twitter is one of the newer social networking pages out there. It’s free to sign up for and you should never be charged for anything on this site either. With a few different themes available you can make your own unique page, all you need to do is change those background colors to something that you like.

There are a few different ways to search for people on Twitter. You can put in the name of a friend and see if they are already registered on Twitter. Or you can look by pulling up your mailbox contacts. Invite people who you think would love Twitter, and have more followers. That’s what Twitter calls friends by the way!

You can also find people by looking at the tab that has “suggested matches”. These are the people that Twitter thinks you may enjoy following. With these types of choices you may soon be following tons of people, and they may follow you too. Not every one you choose to follow is going to follow you so don’t feel bad if it’s doesn’t happen.

Do you like to blog? Keep a blog on Twitter to keep people up to date on your daily or weekly happenings. Maybe you had something great happen to you and you feel that others on Twitter may enjoy that news put it up and post it. Or you may just like writing poetry; this is another thing that you will be able to post up on Twitter. You never know who might come to your page and see what you’ve written.

Look up a topic that you love, like “Stephen King”. Twitter will pull up others who are also interested in that topic. You can look up anything and see if there might be another who finds what you think is great to be interesting to them too. Follow them, send a message you may create a long term friendship that will last your whole life.

Also you don’t have as many flashy options as some other social networking places; it’s really not that big of a deal. In fact social networking sites are to talk to each other, not to see how many flashes and etcetera that doesn’t have anything to do with much.

Check out possibly one of the hottest social networking sites out there. Come to Twitter and see if you can find some new friends. Write blogs that will make others laugh, or just cry, depending on what you wrote. Twitter is a fantastic way to connect with other people all over the world.

You may check for those friends you lost touch with, they might be on Twitter, a nice way to reconnect with others. Another really excellent thing about Twitter is you go to a person’s page, and you can click on their followers. It’s excellent to see what other people have on their site, and you might be blown away by who you can find on Twitter.
