Why Use WordPress?

Are you interested in starting your own blog? Are you using a blogging platform right now and they’re just not happy with that? Well, I’ve great news. I have been blogging for quite some time and have used pretty much every blogging platform out there.

I have finally came to realize that there is no other blogging platform that is comparable to WordPress in my opinion.

WordPress is a far superior blogging platform and there are quite a few reasons why. I will list just a few in order to keep this article relatively short period

The Ease-Of-Use

WordPress by nature is just very easy to use. When it comes to writing down your thoughts and categorizing them in an easy to use and read format WordPress nails it.

The control panel that WordPress uses is super simple. You login, click a couple buttons, start writing and then click another button in your post is ready to be read by the world. Does it get any easier?

Search Engine Friendly

WordPress comes out of the box pretty search engine friendly. Although, you do need to change a few things after you install the blog.

The first, in my opinion, would be the permalink structure. Unfortunately, when you first set up your blog the permalink structure is not very pretty. But luckily that is easily corrected. Now, thepermalinkstructure is just a sample of what you can do with the default WordPress platform.

The Plug-Ins

Oh the plug-ins. You definitely cannot forget the plug-ins when it comes to WordPress. The wide range of plug-ins that are offered for WordPress for absolutely free is astonishing. You can find a WordPress plug-in to do pretty much anything you want.

Especially optimize the blog for search engine performance. A wide range of plug-ins that are available will make your blog a powerhouse when it comes to dominate in the search engines.

The Themes

WordPress has thousands of themes that are available. You can pretty much find a theme for any niche you can possibly imagine. The themes are well coded and very sharp.

You can find many styles of themes that will fit your personal needs, and most likely you will find it for free.

Anyway, that is just the few small reasons why I choose WordPress over the other blogging platforms. I could go on and on for hours about why you should use WordPress, but unfortunately I am limited to the space I can use here today.

But, knows this… WordPress is the number one blogging platform out there right now. That is my opinion at the time of this writing.

It is not until I found WordPress and settle down with it. There are 5 reasons for you to choose WordPress as your blogging system, in the order of their importance.

WordPress is programmed with Search Engine Optimization(SEO) feature. What I am talking about is the function of converting your blog article to URLs pointing to your blog article.

So, if your article title is “”Wordpress Private Tutorials”” then you can have this URL:

WordPress is an amazing Blogging platform which makes it really quick and easy for anyone to publish their own blog or website.

How to become a webmaster? (Part – 5)

Now that you have learned about user control panel, let’s learn how we can make some money while we are learning the basics of becoming a webmaster, asking doubts in the forum with other members out there. Yup, even while you ask your doubts with the fellow webmasters out there, you’ll be making money. Making money online should not be the only aim of registering in a forum. If that’s the case, you’ll end up learning nothing and chances are that, you’ll will be soon banned from the site. And once you get banned from a webmaster forum, then never ever you’ll be able to create an account there. Having said that, if you are ready to follow things the right way, lets start.

In your user control panel, you’ll see an option to update signature. But what is a signature and what’s its use? When you post something, you can include your signature also along with it. This way, for every post that you make, you’ll be able to show your signature as well. How can that do any benefit to you. If you use your signature space the right way, you’ll see some money coming because of it. You can put website links in the signature space. It should not be simply the links themselves. You should write a catchy title and then you should hyperlink it. For example, if you are having a site that sells toys, you can write the title as “buy toys online”, and then you can hyperlink the title with your site’s url. This way, whenever you post a reply or start a thread, you’ll be promoting your website. People will see your link title, and if interested, they’ll visit it. Isn’t it the easiest way to promote your site?

On the other hand, if you don’t have any sites with you, then also you’ll be benefiting from it. There are members in webmaster forums that buy signature spots. The maximum number of links that can be placed in your signature space is four. So, you’ll be able to sell four link spots in your signature space.

How to become a webmaster? (Part – 4)

This is the fourth part of the “how to become a webmaster” series. Okay, you have already learned what a webmaster forum is and who are the people who visit a webmaster forum. You have also learned about creating a user account in a webmaster forum. Now its time for you to familiarize the various features that are available in a webmaster forum.

There are different webmaster forums. In the same manner, there are different forum softwares as well. So, the features available in two different forums can be different. But it’s a fact that, most of the top webmaster forums like DP, NP, SP, Netbuilders etc are using the V-bulletin forum software. It’s one of the best forum software that has a lot of features in it. Okay, leave the v-bulletin thing. That’s not important for us. We are here to talk about the features in a webmaster forum. Our talks will be based on the v-bulletin forum software since most of the webmaster forums are using v-bulletin. Okay, so here we start.

After creating an account, the first thing you should be doing is to update your profile. Profile is something which others will view in order to know more about you. In the profile you can include your email address, your instant messenger ids, your website url etc. You can also mention about what you do, what are your hobbies, interests etc. For accessing the profile you should enter the user control panel. In most of the webmaster forums, it’ll be something like “user cp”. After clicking which you’ll be taken to the user control panel. Then on the left side, you’ll see an option to update your profile. You should be clicking there in order to update your profile as mentioned above.

From the user control panel you can change the password of your account as well. Once you get into the user control panel, you’ll learn everything. There is nothing much to worry, you’ll be given information regarding how to do these things ni the site itself. Just click on the various links and give whatever information you are planning to give about yourself.

Now that you have got an idea about user cp or user control panel in a webmaster forum, lets get into some more complicated things.
