WordPress Plugins! How to Optimize

WordPress plugins can make or break your blogging experience. Being fairly new to blogging has been a real learning experience, not so much writing articles and sending them out to all my social sites, but in trying to optimize the WordPress site so that it’s hitting on all eight cylinders, so to speak. As I read other bloggers articles I pick up bits and pieces of what they have experienced so far, and I’ve decided that having the right WordPress plugins working for you can make life a lot easier. I’ve got a list of 11 plugins, that I’m going to recommend and hopefully shorten your learning curve, and make your blogging a more enjoyable experience.

No 1. Do Follow…This removes the evil nofollow attribute that WordPress adds in comments. You need this to keep visitors coming back for more.

No 2. AddThis Social Bookmarking Widget…Help your visitors promote your site! The widget allows any visitor to bookmark your site easily with many popular services.

No 3. All in One SEO Pack-Pro Version…It’s setup and ready to go right out of the box. It will optimize your site for search engine rankings, plus shorten your url’s by adding a number at the end, versus having a url that winds up being a mile long.

No 4. CommentLuv….Plugin to show a link to the last post from the commenters blog by parsing the feed at their given URL when they leave a comment. It’s rewards your readers and encourages them to return and make more comments.

No 5. Commissions Automator…..This plugin is really needed but if you’re interested in making money on line, it’s helpful. It automatically post instant commission promotions to your blog, with your affiliate ID included, so when someone buys the product, you get the commission. Sweet!

No 6. FD Feedburner Plugin….Redirects all feeds to a Feedburner feed which then sends your blog post out across the entire internet.

No. 7. Onlywire… This is a social bookmarker that will send your blog post out to millions of sites, with only one push of the button.

No 8. PostSwapper.com Plugin…..You can swap links with other bloggers to posts that are related to yours. Build link popularity automatically and easily. Backlinks are one item that is considered when webcrawlers and search engines are looking at ranking your site.

No. 9…Scribe….This plugin quickly checks your new blog post content against SEO best practices, utilizing the Scribe Content Optimizer. You get a readability score, plus see what your keyword density is so you can add more or remove some. This tool makes a huge difference when it comes to SEO Optimization.

No. 10….Tweetmeme….This plugin simply adds a button to your blog which allows your guest to retweet your blog post out to their list of tweeter followers. Nice way to take advantage of someone Else’s list.

No 11….What Would Seth Godin Do….This plugin allows you to display a custom welcome message to a new visitor and a different custom message to a returning visitor. Pretty neat. People like to be treated special so what better way to do that.

To find more information about the plugins just do a Google search, download the plugin into a temp directory and then go to plugins in your WordPress blog, click new and upload the zip file and then install. Pretty simple process and now you have an optimized blog that should bring you hundreds of visitors thanks to your new WordPress plugins.

Highest Paying Niches to Work in

There are thousands upon thousands of niches you can work in and some of them are obviously more competitive then others which are why choosing your niche is important. Another important reason of choosing a good niche is that some niches just don’t have the potential too make money like some of the other niches out there. Today we’re going to look at some of the highest paying niches and how you can make money in those niches by blogging.

Health

The health niche is one of the most competitive niches on the internet and companies spend millions on promoting there websites on the internet in this niche. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to make some money in this niche though including pay-per-click ads, private ads and affiliate sales. You can make upwards of $1 per click on Adsense in this niche which is incredible as most niches pay $.10 or less per click. There is also a magnitude of products to sell in this niche and they usually range in the $100+ price range which allows room for high commission payments. If you can manage to build traffic in this niche then you stand an excellent chance at making some serious money in the health niche.

Finance

With the world’s economy lowering on a daily basis right now there is no better time to get into the financial market online. The competition is very stiff in this market and gaining a market share is nearly impossible, but in a billion dollar industry if you get a fraction of a percent of the market share then you’d be laughing. Commissions are amongst the highest out there in this niche as well as you can make money from credit card applications, payday loan applications and much more.

Adult

If you want to leave the mainstream industry and move into the adult industry then there is tons of money to be made. You can make blogs very quickly in this niche and content isn’t as important as the mainstream niches. You can get away with small blog posts and still make a nice income if you build links and traffic to your blog. Sponsors pay up to $100 per paying customer or you could also take a lifetime percentage per customer although $100 per person is usually more profitable and you get it at one time.

These three niches in my opinion offer the most opportunity for making a full-time income and if you can draw in the traffic then they’ll spend money. It’s proven that these three niches are amongst the top for people spending money in, which means that if you can achieve traffic you’ll usually make money. It needs to be targeted qualified traffic in order to make money, but if you want the best chance of succeeding online and don’t know where to start then I recommend starting with one of these niches. They are very competitive, but a lot of niches these days are so you need to find out how to better then your competitors.

Create a Joint Venture for Your Benefit

If you are in online marketing, you are undoubtedly looking to make some commissions on product sales or promote your own service/product for full profits. So is every other millionth webmaster. What is to set you apart? One among many can often be daunting. It can cause many to stop before they even start. Joint ventures not only give you a support system to get through the rocky start, but also the foot in the door that you need to succeed.

A joint venture is much like a partnership where both parties play to the other’s strengths in order to reach an agreed upon goal. Whether it be to get your product to the masses, generate traffic, provide a service, or just merely promote a hype, the more experienced help you have on your side, the better. Some things to consider when starting a joint venture are the benefits that your partner or partners will bring to the table, the feasibility, and the credibility that another partner brings.

Many do not fully consider the joint venture option because they would rather much make money on their own. After all, if they do it themselves, they gain the sole profits, right? But what they forget is that quantity is key. Sure, you want a marketable and quality product, but if you are not selling in mass quantities, you are not making enough profit to make it worthwhile to continue. This is where joint ventures play a big role. If you get a small group of skilled marketers together and pay a higher commission than the affiliate markets, you can dominate in your niche in no time. Domination would equal more sales which would equal more money in your pocket in the long run. And to make the deal even sweeter, you do less work. How does that sound for genuis ideas?

You may be asking yourself why anyone would want to enter into a joint venture unless they are the ones that have a product or service to market. After all, why would I want to do someone else’s grunt work? Yet if you take a look at the commissions that affiliate sites like Revenue Universe or Commission Junction and compare them to the commissions that a potential partner would offer you, you will undoubtedly find that you will make more through a joint venture project. Think about it: company A pays affiliate site B a certain amount of money. Affiliate site B pays you a percentage of that. If you cut out affiliate site B, you are making more than just a percentage; you are making the full dollar!

Online marketing is a lucrative career of which many can make a living doing. Joint ventures allow you to set up a profit making campaign that will give you residual income for months and even years to come. The key to a successful joint venture project, of course is finding the right players.
