You can get these plugins by doing a simple Google search or through the official WordPress site.

You may have seen several WordPress themes and may feel that even you can develop such theme. For those who want to know how to make a WordPress theme, here are some pointers:

1. Designing a theme does require hard work and patience. It is always better to know html or php and the good thing is there are many resources online that can tell you how to learn them.

2. Go to an html and php tutorial website online and find how to use tags, codes and plug-ins. If you are a novice, go to a tutorial site that shows you to build a WP theme right from the beginning teaching you the basics of html and CSS. 3. HTML is the most important language, which is absolutely necessary needed to make WordPress theme. So make sure you learn those basic HTML commands and coding. You can make use of Microsoft Frontpage or even Dreamweaver to experiment with HTML codes.

4. Styling a webpage and jazzing it up is the next thing to do after you become familiar with html functionalities. This is where your CSS(Cascading Style Sheets) knowledge come in. When you know CSS, you will know how to make a stylish WordPress theme with colors, fonts, pictures etc.

I have tried many blogging system to hold my blog. Starting from free blog systems like blogger.comto open source blog programs.

It is not until I found WordPress and settle down with it. There are 5 reasons for you to choose WordPress as your blogging system, in the order of their importance.

WordPress is programmed with Search Engine Optimization(SEO) feature. What I am talking about is the function of converting your blog article to URLs pointing to your blog article.

For example, if you blog has address of [http://www.YourBlog.com], you can have URLs like this, pointingto your articles:

So, if your article title is “”Wordpress Private Tutorials”” then you can have this URL:

A lot of bloggers don’t make proper use of the many WordPress plug-ins that are available to them and when you don’t utilize them your work becomes a lot harder. There is hundreds of different WordPress plug-ins that can make your blog more SEO friendly as well as more interactive, and you should be using a large number of plug-ins for each of your blogs. Some plug-ins is almost mandatory in the minds of bloggers and I’m going to list some of the more useful plug-ins that you can utilize.

Making your life easier with the use of plug-ins is one of the reasons why so many people are now switching to blogging platforms for their websites and if you don’t utilize the helpful plug-ins then there isn’t much reason to blog. Blogging is ideal for people without programming knowledge which is why the plug-ins is so abundant for WordPress. If you struggle setting up sites, by using WordPress and WordPress plug-ins you’ll be able to change that around quickly. Plug-ins is very simple to activate and use on WordPress as well and most of them come with instructions in the folder file that you download. If you have problems installing I’d check their first and if there isn’t instructions then you could search for them on Google as many places list detailed walkthroughs for many of the popular plug-ins.
