Social Networking on Twitter

Social networking is the way you meet and great friends online. It’s a hot topic in most locations. Social networking sites are popping up all over the place, so you will need to be careful which you choose to post on, and where you should avoid. One place that you need to sign up though is Twitter.

Twitter is a fantastic social networking location. Find old friends, or invite some of your friends by sending them an e-mail. Is Twitter the newest and best social networking places? Well not being an expert about social networking, it still seems that this site has so many cool things. You really should check it out and get online with others.

Checking a topic that you may enjoy, say “cooking” and pull up others. Trade some recipes and get some fantastic ideas of what you can cook for that special get together. Or you may like a certain sport, pull it up and look at who else is interested in that. Meet people from all over the world, and lifelong friends. Heck some people could possibly find their knight in shining armor. With a social networking site you really can never tell what may happen.

Although Twitters choices on themes is a bit short compared to other sites, you are able to make the theme more unique by picking your own background colors. Make something that will make a person eyes ache, or go with the good old normal looking profile. Whichever you pick you can always change it later.

Twitter has some big name celebrities that are on their site too. How do you know it’s not a fake? Well most of them are legitimate, but there still may be a few that slip in there acting like they are someone they are not. This however, happens all over the place. It does seem like most of the big names on Twitter are themselves. What a blast to add your favorite celebrities to your following page. Even if you never talk to them, you will still get updates when they change their status.

What you make of Twitter is how much you go there. It’s hard when your busy working all day, when you come home you don’t always feel like going on the computer. And at times even if you get on the computer you may not check all those sites you belong too. If you don’t go often though, how will you meet people? Set aside a bit of time that you can go find a few people to follow and others will follow you too. It can create a great friendship.

Twitter is a quick sign up, maybe 10 minutes at the most, and you don’t need to pay anything to join this site. You will find the process of getting on Twitter is so easy that even a younger kid could join. Twitter does seem like a very clean site, not all those naked pictures, or bad things going on. There might be a few words here and there though, but really compared to some other places this place is fantastic.

Follow people on Twitter

Twitter one of the newer social networking websites out there; it’s a fun place to spend some time just looking around. A quick and free sign up will have you hopping around looking at other people on Twitter. You can also add your friends by using the email invite button, or the email match to see if some of your contacts are already on Twitter.

One of the coolest things about Twitter is the fact that you can look for others by name, or you can look at the tab that says “suggested matches”. These are the people Twitter thinks you should find interesting. Plus there seems to be several celebrities that are on this site too. A fun thing to do is to look up a celebrity and see who they are following, and who’s following them. It’s a quick way to add up people you want to follow at times. Someone you may not have thought of that is famous, and they are following all you do is go to the next pages and follow that other person too.

People will add you to who they are following too. It’s really neat to see that people you don’t even know would like to follow what’s going on with you. Maybe you write a blog that they find interesting, or some other reason. But really who cares as long as they don’t turn out to be a stalker, to get a message saying someone is following you is just a good feeling.

You can also pull up different topics, say you love “botany”, pull up the word and see if there might be others who are into botany. Follow them and perhaps you will learn more about the topic. Or you can find a friend who you can talk to about a subject that interests you both.

As with anything on the internet there may be some things that are inappropriate for younger kids. So you may want to just check if you son or daughter are on Twitter what they are following. Make sure that you tell them not too discuss any personal information with others either, but that’s on all kinds of websites you just need to be careful.

Following people on Twitter is so easy to do, once you find a person who you’d like to keep track of, just click on the follow button placed right below their picture or icon. Find some lifelong friends that you may never have met had it not been for Twitter. Or perhaps you’re a person who is shy in social settings. This is a way that you won’t need to go out of your house to meet someone. No more feeling awkward as your not sure what to say. Online it’s a lot easier to talk, your not face to face with someone, your not wondering if there is food in your teeth, or how you look. Try out Twitter to see if you can meet some great friends.

Niche Blogging – What Exactly Does It Mean?

As blogging became more crowded and more blogs were being created everyday there came a time when there were to many general bloggers around and many smart webmasters decided to start creating blogs based solely on niche markets. A niche blog is a blog that is narrowed down in topic so that it doesn’t fall into a general category. An example of this would be instead of having a celebrity blog you would have a Paris Hilton blog. As you can see you’ve went from the entire celebrity niche which is too big for person to blog about to just Paris Hilton niche which is easier to blog about and remain on top of all the news. As you know some celebrities have enough news that a blog could be updated everyday with new content and there are also some celebrities that have thousands of search engine searches everyday. This means that by narrowing your audience down you cut down on some traffic possibly, but you’re also going to have a more authority blog by making it in a niche. Many niches to this day don’t have an authority in the niche and that simply means there is still opportunity for more people to take control of a niche market.

There are niche markets everywhere and for every topic you just need to use your imagination. One important thing to remember is not to make your blog to narrow of a niche though because then you simply run into problems with content. It can hard to constantly update a blog about a certain tool or something so instead of blogging about a brand of hammers blog about all hammers. Hammers would be considered a good niche because you’re narrowing it down from the general niche of tools. You can take anything basically and make it into a smaller niche and the reason it’s smart to do so is because you can make a lot more money. Many internet marketers talk about how important it is to get targeted traffic to your products and lead offers and the best way to get targeted traffic on the internet right now is through a niche blog.

If you think about all of your traffic should be targeted because frankly I don’t know anyone who’s looking for clothes find there way onto a blog about hammers. It simply doesn’t happen and if it does then it’s a mistake obviously and it won’t a visitor who stays very long on the blog. All the traffic you get should be people interested in hammers, this means you know have a bunch of people interested in hammers coming to a blog you own. Lights should be going off in your head right now, because by having people at your blog interested in hammers you can now sell hammers on your blog and make a pretty penny.

It could take months to build up the readership on the blog before you start making money but once it starts coming in you’ll be set for a long time to come. If you choose like hammers then if you market yourself properly you could ensure income for life because people will always need to buy hammers. The fact is more people are moving online to buy products and if you can make a niche blog about a certain product then you could be in for big money. Don’t choose a product that gets upgraded every year though because then all the work you do is a waste once the upgrade comes and people stop wanting the old version.

There is an unlimited amount of money that can be made for bloggers who begin narrowing their efforts down to niches and if done properly it’s a goldmine. There is also a lot less work when you create a niche blog because often times it doesn’t need to be updated to often, basically only when there is something going on in the niche of the blog which could be once a week or even once a month. You’ll want to post at least once a month so that you can ensure your blog maintains its traffic and revenue though. When you begin marketing your niche blog you should try finding directories that are specifically related to your niche as they will be valued higher then general directory submissions. Also try obtaining links from other webmasters that already have blogs or sites in your niche, this is a sure fire way to get the search engines you want to see in the quickest amount of time. Remember to stay natural with your link building campaigns though or else you could face problems down the road once the search engines catch on.

Blogging for money is one of the loosest terms in the blogosphere lately and almost everyone who’s anyone has there own blog now. Celebrities, sports stars, rock stars and even kids have blogs nowadays and with them being so easy to function it’s no wonder they’ve become so popular. Blogs are now used to earn an income from and after the likes of ShoeMoney who is a blogger who became rich from it everyone wants their piece of the action. Now there are many methods of monetizing your blog and your efforts won’t be unnoticed. The more work you put into your blog the more return you will see in the long-run and it’ll be completely worth it.

In the beginning you shouldn’t be looking for methods to monetize your blog but instead you should be aiming to try and target traffic. The most important part to running a successful blog is the traffic and without the traffic you won’t be able to get very far in the industry. Millions of blogs are on the internet and with so many being on the internet it’s difficult to make yours stand out from the others. This is why you should avoid adding ads in the beginning until you’ve established a good amount of steady traffic to your blog and once you do that then implement your ads.

When it comes times to begin implementing your ads to your blog you will need to take a look at the many different options you have. First and probably the most popular is your cost per click ads like Google Adsense, where you place a block of ads on your site and every time someone clicks it you receive a certain amount of money. This can add up over time and the more traffic you have viewing the ads the higher your earnings will be, which is why I stress leaving ads off your blog until it would be worth having them on it. Many people get turned off by ads, especially badly places ads. Try refraining from having Google Adsense in the content of your blog and try keeping it off to the side in one of the themes sidebars.

Another form of monetizing your blog can be from CPA offers which is a cost per action usually either an email submit or a sale of a product. There are many networks hosting many different CPA offers and some can pay very nice amounts of money depending on the niche that you’re involved in. Some great networks to join are Commission Junction and MaxBounty, one is for product sale commissions and the other offers many trail and free cost per action offers.

There is a lot of money that can be made in the blogosphere and depending on your skills you could have a head start to making money, but no matter your experience you’ll have a chance of making money. It’s rather simple to maintain and set-up a blog so you should have many problems with that and the networks for ads all have great support and guides for you to follow. Make sure you take the time to read the guidelines and also the rules so that you don’t break them, and then start implementing the ads throughout your established blogs.
