How to Get a WordPress Theme With No Linkback Required

How to Get a WordPress Theme With No Linkback Required

When searching for a good WordPress theme to use for your blog or business website, it is wise to get a premium theme that the designer doesn’t require you to link back to his/her site. Linking back means you leave a link in the footer of your site pointing to the template site or its affiliate site from every web page of your site. So, if you have thousands of web pages, your site will give away thousands of backlinks just like that, thus, diluting the link juice your site gets from other sources. Your site will not reap the full benefit of incoming links, because it is sharing it with the template site or its affiliate site.

There are dangers of linking to a site you can’t entirely trust. If the WP template site engages in something illegal or something that is against the guidelines of major search engines, your site will be in danger of being penalized, because your site is linking to it. In the eyes of search engines, backlinks are seen as votes of approval. Are you sure you approve of those sites you link to?

I used such themes for a while when I wasn’t entirely aware of the implications. Then, I woke up! I searched day and night for a perfect blog theme that was search engine-optimized, very customizable without requiring me to tweak some codes and one that is private label (not demanding a linkback). I was dismayed as you are now to find out there was none available.

At that stage I got a professional web designer friend to design an easily customizable WP theme that would be private label, search engine-friendly and packed with all the best bug-free WordPress plugins necessary to operate a blog successfully. My friend went to work and after just two weeks, a new blogging theme emerged that saved me from linking back to the template site.

Look for a cute WordPress theme that incorporates all the necessary tags needed to optimize sites for search engines, color changing function, optimal advertising placement, no linkback required from users, the flexibility to install it on multiple domains, amongst other things. This is the type of WP theme I strongly suggest you get, because you deserve it!

The 3 Pages That Should Be On Every WordPress Website to Increase Its Effectiveness

The 3 Pages That Should Be On Every WordPress Website to Increase Its Effectiveness WordPress has come a long way in its journey to become the #1 blogging platform out there today. As the features and functionality have increased over time, the possibilities for what can be done with WordPress as a website solution have increased. With today’s features, WordPress can be used to create an entire site in most cases in addition to just a blog. This article discusses which pages should be created in any WordPress blog. The 3 Pages That Should Be On Every WordPress Website to Increase Its Effectiveness

1. Landing Page or Home Page The landing page or home page, depending upon the type of web site, is critical in being able to convert your visitors to taking a specific action. It is very difficult to do that with blog entries as the home page. When people land on your blog home page, they usually land on a page with a lot of content and nothing really directing them to do anything. If any of your blog titles happens to catch their attention, then when they click on a specific post, you may be able to convert that into an action, but only if your post is written up to do just that. If not, then you will just have a reader who may or may not come back to your site. Having a landing page will allow you to prepare the visitor and guide them through the site the way you want them to go. 2. Contact Us Page WordPress makes it easy to put a contact us form on your website that will get emailed back to you when the visitor submits the form. There are a few ‘contact us’ plug-ins that give the website owner a lot of flexibility in getting the kind of feedback that will be most beneficial to them. One of the contact form plugins that gives a lot of flexibility in creating great forms called ‘Contact Form 7’. The 3 Pages That Should Be On Every WordPress Website to Increase Its Effectiveness.

The benefit of having a contact form instead of your email is it is easier to manage communications, you can outsource your customer support much more easily and you can guide the visitor much better with the information you need from them so you can better serve your visitors, prospects and customers. 3. Blog Postings Page If you are going to have a WordPress website, then you should have a blog as well. WordPress is a blogging platform so it pretty much comes with the territory. In this case, you will need to create a separate page to direct the blog postings to. When setting up the blog page, you will need to be sure to label it something that is very clear and enticing if you want your visitors to read your blog postings. Labels like ‘Blog’, ‘Articles’ and ‘Content’ are fairly popular. This is the name that will be on the navigation link for that page as well. This is why it is important to make it something that is easy for visitors to understand. Creating an entire website from WordPress is easy to do with the latest versions of WordPress. It is very easy to create the basic pages that will allow a small business owner to get a website up and running very quickly. Having a landing page, a contact us page and a blog page is a great foundation to build from. Once that foundation is there, additional pages and features can be easily added. Thinking-to-quit-your-day-job

Thinking to quit your day job?

Are you thinking to quit your day job? If so, why? If you are thinking that you’ll be making more money working online – then I’d say – you should think once again. It’s not because I don’t think there is enough opportunity. But it’s because there are a lot of things that you may not be knowing.

Money can be made online through different ways. But it may not be bringing you money on a monthly basis like your day job if you don’t do things the right way. There are a lot of people, earning some real money online on a monthly basis. But they would be much experienced than you. The benefit of doing a day job is that – you’ll be guaranteed an amount at the end of the month whatsoever – whether you get works or not. The company for which you are working is responsible for delivering you money at the right time. But if you are gonna work online, there is no such time frame or guarantee that you’ll be getting money. You may or may not get money earlier or later than a particular month.

Your online earnings will depend on the work that you are doing online. If you are working directly for the clients, then you may be either getting the amount upfront or after completing the work half or fully. On the other hand if there is a middleman between you and the actual client, then you may have to wait some time before you get the payment in your hand.

If you are with some skills like – designing, programming, writing, or something like that, then you could opt for this track – yup, you can make money online – and even quit your day job. But if you don’t have any such skills, then you’ll have to really work hard. And it won’t be a wise decision for you to quit your day job, if you fall under the second category of people that we mentioned above.

Two Free WordPress Themes That Can Reduce Your Blog Setup Time by Half

Two Free WordPress Themes That Can Reduce Your Blog Setup Time by Half

WordPress themes are also known as layouts or templates. These are files that create the look and feel of your blog content. WordPress themes can be very simple, like the one that comes standard with every install, to the complex. Bloggers can choose from free and paid versions of templates. When choosing a template, you should choose one that will give you a lot of ability to easily customize the template to fit your branding needs. This article discusses 2 templates (or themes) that have a lot of customization features which are relatively easy to a create unique brand.

All WordPress templates allow you to customize them by going into the Edit page of the Appearance tab. If you are not comfortable with PHP and HTML code, then you may have some trouble in customizing your appearance. One benefit of the themes mentioned in this article is they are customizable through a special theme options page, which means you can get your WordPress site up and running much more quickly.

1) Atahualpa Theme

This theme is a free theme that was created by ‘Bytes for All’ and can be found on their web site where you can ask questions and get community support for this theme. Once this theme is installed, you can customize the theme in the Appearance >> Atahualpa Theme Options page. Once here, you will find a host of options to highly customize your theme. Webmasters can configure special CSS styles for things such as the header, the layout, and page features such as headings, links and menu bars. Users can easily upload header graphics that can rotate through the header graphic.

Other options that can be customized include the number of columns you want on your blog (technically you can have from 1 to 5 columns), which side you want you sidebars to be on, or what you want your widget boxes to look like. The look and feel is highly customizable and is a great start to quickly getting a professional look to your blog.

2) News Magazine Theme

The free News Magazine theme was created by Anti Social Media LLC. This theme gives you several easily customizable options that can be set in the Appearance >> News Magazine Theme 640 Options page. The News Magazine theme doesn’t have quite as many options to set up as the Atahualpa theme, but you can add code for site tracking (can be done through the use of plugins), ad rotating and just adding text or java script code to parts of your template.

One nice feature of this template is that you can easily take featured categories and spotlight them on your blog through simple dropdown selections. One very nice feature is that you can control the excerpt length of your blog postings on the index page. On 99.9% of the WordPress blogs out there, the home (or index) page prints the entire text of the blog post. A better format for visitors is to have a post excerpt and they can click a link to read the entire blog. Currently there is no function in WordPress that allows you to display excerpts of your blog postings. This blog theme allows you to display excerpts with their ‘Blog Mode Excerpt Length’ setting.

These two WordPress themes are varied enough to get you started and well on your way with your first (or second) WordPress blog. The ease of these customizable settings should greatly reduce your setup time while creating a fairly well customized blog. To make the most advantage of setting up your blog for more traffic and more automation, taking a WordPress training class will speed up creating a decent blog following.

How-to-become-a-webmaster-Part5

How to become a webmaster? (Part – 5)

Now that you have learned about user control panel, let’s learn how we can make some money while we are learning the basics of becoming a webmaster, asking doubts in the forum with other members out there. Yup, even while you ask your doubts with the fellow webmasters out there, you’ll be making money. Making money online should not be the only aim of registering in a forum. If that’s the case, you’ll end up learning nothing and chances are that, you’ll will be soon banned from the site. And once you get banned from a webmaster forum, then never ever you’ll be able to create an account there. Having said that, if you are ready to follow things the right way, lets start.

In your user control panel, you’ll see an option to update signature. But what is a signature and what’s its use? When you post something, you can include your signature also along with it. This way, for every post that you make, you’ll be able to show your signature as well. How can that do any benefit to you. If you use your signature space the right way, you’ll see some money coming because of it. You can put website links in the signature space. It should not be simply the links themselves. You should write a catchy title and then you should hyperlink it. For example, if you are having a site that sells toys, you can write the title as “buy toys online”, and then you can hyperlink the title with your site’s url. This way, whenever you post a reply or start a thread, you’ll be promoting your website. People will see your link title, and if interested, they’ll visit it. Isn’t it the easiest way to promote your site?

On the other hand, if you don’t have any sites with you, then also you’ll be benefiting from it. There are members in webmaster forums that buy signature spots. The maximum number of links that can be placed in your signature space is four. So, you’ll be able to sell four link spots in your signature space.

More about signatures and making money selling signatures in the next part of our “how to become a webmaster” series.
