I practice a tactic called Domain Seasoning. Because google likes domains that have been hosted for a long time, I felt that I should do something about all the domains that I owned. Most people out there just purchase domains and let the set in there domain account. I like to do the opposite.  What I do is get the domain out there to season. It doesn’t matter when you are ready to begin using the site for something real, it just needs to be.

This is a quick and easy way to get indexed and maybe get some pagerank before you are ready to begin working on the site. Not to mention, you could add some adsense and banner ads and collect some money that you may have never seen. Here are the easy steps to Domain Seasoning.

  1. Host your site

  3. Add wordpress

  5. Make a few small changes

  7. Add your articles through RSS with relevant content
  8. \r\n

  9. Use wp-o-matic to add articles
  10. \r\n

  11. Add your adsense
  12. \r\n

  13. Let it season

You will see after a while that your Domain that was just sitting there doing nothing, now has a life of its own. Maybe it will be bringing in some money also. Try this technique, it works and it’s easy.
